We are very happy to announce that PrePex has been selected as a laureate of the prestigious 2015 Tech Awards - in the Sutter Health category.
A signature program of The Tech Museum of Innovation, The Tech Awards, presented by Applied Materials, is an international awards program that honors innovators from around the world who are applying technology to benefit humanity.
From 25 finalists, 10 laureates (two in the Sutter Health Category) were selected and awarded with a $50,000 USD prize.
PrePex will be honored at a festive Gala event to be held in November in San Jose, California. The event, popularly known as "the Oscar Awards of the Silicon Valley", will introduce each laureate via a short video especially made for this occasion, featuring their work and contribution to humanity.

PrePex™ at the World Health Summit 2015
PrePex™ has been chosen as one of the 30 shortlisted companies to participate at the World Health Summit (WHS) in Berlin, Germany next week. More than 70 startups from 17 countries, presenting novel approaches for improving health, applied to present their ideas at the World Health Summit 2015, to be held from October 11-13 at the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin. PrePex has received the recognition of the WHS jury as the only non-surgical device for male circumcision contributing to the global efforts to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS.We are proud to receive this honor and to stress the importance of global support in VMMC projects and in HIV/AIDS prevention.
Held once a year, the WHS has grown into the world’s most prominent forum for addressing global health issues. It brings together key leaders from academia, politics, civil society, and the private sector to address the most pressing health-related challenges on the planet. Among the distinguished participants of the WHS are Chancellor Angela Merkel (Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany), François Hollande (President of the French Republic), Jean-Claude Juncker (President of the European Commission) Mark Dybul (Executive Director of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria), Nobel Prize laureates, Health ministers, researchers and advocates.
