  • The Penny-a-Page Read-a-thon wraps up with a dance party on April 25, 2015, 3-5PM at Kensington Town Hall.

Honors for Noyes Filmmaker!

Check out this video made by 10-year-old Noyes Library patron Pearl Hoffman-Byer of Kensington on why she loves Noyes Library. She received an honorable mention in the White House Student Film Festivalto which more than 1,500 videos were submitted by students up to age 18and attended a ceremony at the White House in March. The Gazette recently wrote about her video. Way to go, Pearl!
Historic Buildings Workshop

Community Meeting Generates Ideas for Noyes

A productive four-hour workshop on Jan. 31, 2015, drew community members to share ideas on enhancements for three Kensington historic buildings: Noyes Library, Warner Circle, and Kensington Cabin. Read more about the workshop.

Cruise Over to the Noyes Tent at the Kensington Car Show

Visit the Noyes table at the Kensington Car Show on April 12. Read-a-thon participants can collect pledges and donations toward their Pennies-a-Page totals. More details are here.

Local children's book author and creator of the Make MORE Noyes logo Lulu Delacre, has a new book in the works. Get the inside scoop here. You can find many books by Delacre, including The Storyteller's Candle, at county libraries.

The Noyes Children’s Library Foundation launched the Make MORE Noyes Campaign to fund a major renovation of the 121-year-old library, making it accessible to those with physical disabilities for the first time in history.
