Author Spotlight: Theodor Geisel

How can we not feature the beloved "Dr. Seuss" during his birthday month of March? Seen on the left is Lt. Sean Dinn, son of Foundation Co-President Sheila Dinn, reading to elementary students in San Diego as part of the U.S. military's participation in Read Across America on March 2nd.  This Seuss-themed annual event caps the NEA's year-round effort to motivate children and teens to read.

Have fun learning about Theodor Geisel's amazing life and the 44 books he wrote and illustrated at Random House's
Seussville site.  Read more about Read Across America here!
