Dear IB fans and families

Audentes is proud to present the first IB newsletter that will be the voice of our success stories and new implementations.

During the last 4 years that Audentes has offered IB Programme we have grown a lot - we have successfully opened pre-IB year to prepare students for the challenging programme and many new courses. Currently we have 22 students and 15 teachers.

We will talk with our International Teachers in this newsletter, to see what they think about the life in Estonia and how different are the learning cultures. The newest member of IB family is Triin-Ketlin Siska, our School psychologist, who was welcomed with a big hurray. You can get to know more about her in this newsletter.

First term has been eventful, we have visited many companies and done career related activities such as job shadow day to help to make the career decisions a bit easier. Next year in December DP students should have a clear vision about their university or life choices and we will continue with showing them different possibilities for their future. Agnes Järve, our CAS coordinator will speak about one study trip to a local NGO and we are hoping that CAS activities will motivate the students to take new challenges and to engage with issues of global and local importance.

Next year will offer lot`s of great opportunities to engage in various international events - at the end of January we have Global Awareness week, where students are hosting food and culture workshops and simulate Model United Nations conference; in April we will have a full week dedicated to TOK and in May our School will celebrate it`s 20th birthday. So there will be lot`s to wait for.

May the holidays be joyful and relaxing,

Karolin Mäe
IB Coordinator
