Special Guest: Ian MacDonald

Jan 22, 2019

Next Meeting - Jan 22nd with Special Guest Ian MacDonald

We are thrilled to have Ian MacDonald join us and talk about Finding Creativity - What PTSD Taught Me About Photography. Ian is a Fujifilm X-Photographer from Maple Ridge. He leads photography workshops all around the world, has a wonderful blog, and is also a successful wedding photographer. It promises to be a great evening.

Here's a short introduction from his website
I’ve spoken often about my journey with PTSD and how it shaped me as an artist. There are articles about it here on this site, posts about it on my Instagram, I deliver inspirational presentations about it when I am hired to teach and I am about to share what I learned from my journey in an upcoming book. I have shared my story relentlessly, because I know it helps others who are facing their own challenges and because we are a community of artists who should always support each other.
~ See you soon, Judy & Elizabeth

In addition, we will be able to post events, such as fieldtrips. Since the group is closed, only members will see posts and comments.

The link to the group is

REMINDER: Because it is a closed group, you will have ask to join before you can start uploading images or commenting. As long as you are a member in good standing (membership dues up to date), we promise to let you in!

We want to see more of your work, so we encourage all members to post images here. Your photos do not have to be related to an assignment or fieldtrip. Use this space to ask questions about your images, equipment, locations, or any other photography related query you have.
