If you would like to explore some of these questions,
please come to our learning lunch on the Prevent Agenda:
  • What do we mean by extremism?
  • What does extremism look like in Haringey?
  • What can you do to identify early intervention opportunities or to report instances that might be cause for concern?
  • How can we ensure that specific groups do not feel marginalised by the prevent agenda?

It's just an hour of your day and you'll get a certificate of attendance for your continuing professional development records.
Prevent Learning Lunch - 24 June 2015
  • No booking required - first come, first served!
  • Certificates issued
Haringey Safeguarding Children Board organises Learning Lunches, short learning sessions over lunch periods, to ensure that those who might not be able to access a full day's training on a given subject can still benefit from a brief face-to-face learning session.

Why not come along, and find out what you can do to protect young people at risk of exploitation.

The sessions are open to all and there is no need to book. Please note that lunch is not provided.
