Understanding Coercive Control

Haringey Violence Against Women & Girls Practice Network

Council Chambers, Civic Centre
Friday 22 May 2015
1:30-4:40pm

Homicide reviews frequently find that coercive control is one of the most important factors in assessing risk.

This session supports professionals to understand what coercive control is, how to identify it in families and to assess risk.

In 2010, Haringey SCB published a serious case review on Family Q which dealt with many of these issues.
