Thursday, October 13, 11am, 1170 TMCB. Chris Chase will present this year's CPMS Homecoming lecture titled, "The Plumbing of the Internet". Chase is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Labs.

ORCA GRANT DEADLINE
BYU's Office of Research & Creative Activities (ORCA) offers $1,500 grants to help undergraduate students work with faculty in a one-on-one mentoring setting. Submit proposals for the 2016-2017 academic year by Thursday, October 27 at 11:59pm.

SOUNDS TO ASTOUND

LUMEN STEM FAIR
Lumen is a charter school looking for volunteers to present hands-on STEM activities for 7-12 graders or to mentor a student in a science project to be presented at the fair on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Click here for more information.

An AmeriCorps program, is a one-year urban education fellowship. Recent college graduates from top universities across the country commit a year to closing the achievement gap in Boston, one student at a time. Match Corps members tutor small groups of students in grades 1-12 and partner closely with families. This starts August 2017.
