GRADUATION EXERCISES

Congratulations to our CPMS graduates! Convocation will take place on Friday, 12 August 2016 in the WSC Ballroom. Graduates need to arrive at 7:30am for picture and to line-up in the WSC Garden Court.

TA TRAINING CONFERENCE
Are you a new TA? Attend the TA conference for training on August 26. Please contact your department to ensure that the process of hiring is complete before the conference begins. Training online can be done at Ytrain.byu.edu.

ESL WRITING LAB MERGED WITH BYU WRITING CENTER 
Writers will receive the same services and resources in the Writing Center as they enjoyed in the ESL Writing Lab. More information can be found here.

BYU’s research in machine learning is starting to receive recognition on the world stage. Paul Felt, a recent PhD graduate in computer science, has been developing new ways to help computers learn the subtleties of human language from human-labeled data.
