Vatican Astronomer Bridges Faith and Science at Summerhays Lecture

For Brother Guy Consolmagno, science and religion have always been intertwined, and to separate them would be to deny God’s creations.

Consolmagno, who is a planetary scientist and the director of the Vatican Observatory, spoke at this year’s Summerhays Lecture at the Joseph Smith Building on March 10, 2016.

Wade Anderson

Computer Science Alumnus' Business Continues to Grow

BYU computer science alumnus Wade Anderson had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, so when he got to college he didn’t waste any time.

Anderson and his business partners had started their own company, Novi Security, by the time they graduated in 2014. The company sells a do-it-yourself home security system that alerts renters and homeowners to unusual activity by sending photos of the home to the owner’s smartphone.
