This biannual luncheon provides an opportunity for women students in STEM fields to listen to women professionals from academia and industry. The luncheon is free, but seating is limited.  TODAY is the last day to RSVP here

Dust off your resumes and get your clothes dry-cleaned, the semi-annual BYU STEM Fair is here! Connect with future employers and network your way to the top through workshops and activities that are directed at helping you! Check-out the list of upcoming STEM workshops below:
  • A representative from Adobe will be presenting Resume101 on Monday, January 30, 4pm, 3228 WSC
  • A representative from IM Flash will be presenting Interviewing 101 on Tuesday, January 31, 4pm, 3228
  • Attend a "Resume Review" with a career counselor to get that resume polished-up before the fair.  They will be meeting with students on Wednesday, February 1, from 11am-1pm in the CB lounge and then again on Thursday, February 2, 11am-1pm in the CTB lounge.
  • A representative from Qualtrics will be presenting Career Fair 101 on Friday, February 3, 12pm, 3228 WSC

3MT APPLICATION DEADLINE
This university-wide competition challenges students working on a graduate degree to explain their thesis in three minutes. The CPMS competition will be Friday, February 24, 11:30am, in the Hinckley Center 3rd Floor Assembly Hall. Apply by Friday, February 3rd. For more info, click here.

2017 Technical Summer Internship: Extending Batched Ray Traversal

This intern project will investigate extending our batched ray traversal system for accelerating path tracing. The intern will research and investigate ways to leverage the unique properties and behaviors of our production renderer's batched ray traversal system to take advantage of state-of-the-art work in fast ray tracing. The goal of the project is to produce faster ray traversal techniques that can improve interactivity when rendering production assets on local artists machines.
