Teaching Moment

Professor Shane Reese understands the importance of inviting the Spirit into every class he teaches.

"I try to begin class with a prayer. . . Inviting inspired learning is an opportunity that we are blessed with at BYU. I also try to close my class by sharing with my students what I believe to be the 'weightier matters' by sharing my testimony of the restored gospel, of living and inspired prophets, of restored doctrine in the Book of Mormon and of the miracle of redemption and enabling through the Atonement of Jesus Christ."
