Magnifying What is Within

January 26-27, 2018 | Computer History Museum | Mountain View, CA

Join the new online ADN network and register for ADIS2018.
Dear friends and colleagues,

The 2018 symposium theme, "Magnifying What is Within," stems from the respect and appreciation of the richness of the natural wealth and talents that Africa has to offer to the world and the continent. ADIS2018 seeks to amplify and activate the possibilities for the Continent to develop a solid infrastructure to sustainably provide resources to her own children, Africans in Africa.

Africa is poised to become a leading Continent for investment.  Many African countries, regardless of the many challenges they face, are also diversifying their economy and adopting policies to increase employment and productivity.   There are multiple ventures on the Continent that have already started to focus their efforts on exploring economic growth through sustainable job creation. Daproim Africa is a Kenya-based B corporation solving poverty through local youth employment. Its mission is to "provide high quality IT enable business solutions geared towards delivering positive social transformational impact to African youth." This year, the company was honored as part of the 2017 Best for the World list for its commitment to employing underprivileged youth throughout Nairobi and the neighboring region.

Together, we can change the narrative of Africa through action. Economic development happens with the right ecosystem and one that is mindful of the future of Africa, its youth on the Continent. Join us during ADIS2018 and be a part of the conversation with leading experts and ventures that have already started to develop in Africa in new and innovative ways.
We encourage you to sign up for both the online ADN platform and ADIS2018 to learn more and be a part of this vital conversation and action.  Find more information on the ADN platform and register here.
