ADIS2017 Success! A Thank You From The African Diaspora Network Board and Team

Dear African Diaspora Network Family,

We thank you for honoring us with your presence, wisdom, and time at the second annual African Diaspora Investment Symposium (ADIS 2017). You made the symposium a smashing success – again! The success of ADIS 2017 is reflection of the people who participated and those who supported us – this is for you.

Our theme this year was around engagement, sparking dialogue, and activating action.  Well, we were able to see all these three come to LIFE for two days with more than 200 participants from Africa, Europe, and the United States.  In the weeks to come, we will release ADIS 2017 summary and action items.

We look forward to future partnerships.  If you have not yet, please join today.

  • Creating Enabling Environments for Entrepreneurship through working with diaspora communities to foster and develop institutions, systems and environments conducive to entrepreneurship in countries of origin
  • Developing/Testing New Diaspora-Centered Philanthropic Models to foster investment in economic growth and entrepreneurship in countries of origin

Concept papers must be received by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on April 20, 2017. USAID will provide a response to all concept papers by June 5, 2017.
