Help Paradise Recovery
Camp Fire burned 153,336 acres and it was the deadliest, most destructive fire in California history. At least 85 people have died in the fire and 296 are listed as unaccounted for by the Butte County Sheriff’s Office. A total of 13,696 homes burned, in addition to 276 multi-family structures and 528 businesses destroyed. Feather River, Hospital and the Adventist School school have been partially destroyed and the Adventist church there was completely destroyed. Upper Columbia Conference churches already collected a special offering to support the survivors of the Camp Fire in Paradise, California.

Funds are being collected through December for those so tragically affected by the Camp fire – particularly the community of Paradise, California.  All the funds you give are going directly to provide support for the brave families who have lost everything except what matters most; life, love and hope.
UCC online giving https://adventistgiving.org/#/org/ANIIII/envelope/start
is also an option by marking “UCC Disaster Response–Paradise Recovery” or marking a tithe envelope, “Paradise Recovery.”
Dear Church,
As Fall is fast upon us, it's time for an update from the Finance Committee on your church's financial situation.  As usual for the Summer months, offerings to Combined Budget were much less than needed to meet the desired monthly target budget value, and we are currently over $25 thousand behind the cumulative target budget value. So, any additional giving to Combined Budget will be greatly appreciated during November and December to help catch us up. Your Ministry leaders, however, have been frugal in their spending, so we are not in the negative for the fiscal year, but I'm sure the Ministry leaders would appreciate some extra giving in the next couple of months, in order to help fund their full ministry needs. Again, we thank you for your generous giving in the past, and pray God's blessing as we continue through these next few months.
