This week's Sermon...

"ESCAPE TO THE CHATEAU"

    Come worship with us!
   In-Person or ONLINE
New Sermon Series: "What Happens Next?" January 22 - March 5. The Gospels make it clear that Jesus, more than anyone else, knew what the future held, both for His followers and for the rest of the world. “What Happens Next?” Is a series that probes into the words of Christ about the days ahead of us; what to expect and how to be ready. Insight drawn from all four Gospels will reveal essential truths for our generation. At the end of the 16th chapter of John, Jesus says to His disciples, "I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world" (John 16:33). May this sermon series help us to be more informed about these vital realities and experience the courage and peace that Jesus promised.
Children's Church! This Sabbath, January 15th after Sabbath School, all children will start in the sanctuary for the worship music, then will be dismissed to the community hall prior to the sermon. The program is targeted for children ages 3-12 but all children are welcome to attend. Children's Church is held on the 1st and 3rd Sabbaths of the month.
The Finance Committee says a huge Thank You to our church family for your contributions to the Church Budget!  The 2021-2022 Church Budget is almost current at the end of December due to your giving.  Thank you for your generosity!
Our monthly Church Budget is $21,950.  These funds support our many church ministries and church plant/building.
The Ministry Placement Committee report is now available on the church website and in hard copy format (in the foyer).  This report is a valuable resource for three reasons:
1) it lets you know who is involved in the various ministries at the church
2) it gives names of leaders so you know who to contact if you have questions about a certain church ministry
3)
it identifies where needs are that YOU might volunteer for.  There are scores of people working together to make this church function, AND there are many ministries that still need additional support.

Thank you so much for blessing those in need in our community this winter!
HELP KEEP OUR CHURCH SAFE
As we enter the cold and flu season and continue to weather the Covid threat, we thank you for being especially mindful of the health and safety of each other. Thank you for wearing a facial covering in our facilities and for helping us do our part.
Lost & Found items are sitting on a table under the coat rack. Please claim your "LOST" items. These items will be discarded soon after January 15. Thank you.
My daughter Amanda is going to start school in Richland in January. She still needs to find a room to rent for her, possibly with church members. Please contact Lonny @ 509-728-2277 for more details. Thank you.
