by Nancy Manente

April 4th  at 11:00 am

Come worship ONLINE with us!
“Hello Church! We’d like to invite you to join us on a LIVE VIDEO Sabbath School this Saturday morning at 10:00 am With Pastor Sergio and you will be able to participate. We are bringing sabbath school to you virtually and we’re hoping that next week each of our Sabbath School teachers can do the same with their individual classes. Don’t worry we’ll walk you through every step.
Now is not the time to isolate, it’s a time to come together and participate. It may look different but we can still build our faith and strengthen our church community together through the miracle of technology.
Following Sabbath School we will have a countdown and you will have a link to a live stream Sermon that will end the series 'BY FAITH’ Let’s do this together!!!”

"FLYING FREE" by Nancy Manente
"For it is not mere words that nourish the soul, but God Himself, and unles and until the hearers find God in personal experience they are not the better for having heard the truth.

The Bible is not an end in itself, but a means to bring men to an intimate and satisfying knowledge of God, that they may enter into Him, that they may delight in His Presence, may taste and know the inner sweetness of the very God Himself in the core and center of their hearts."
Due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 Virus and our sincere desire to protect the health of our church families and the community, we are officially postponing all of our church services and activities until further notice. We are transitioning instead to live streaming and online communications.

We are providing Online Church Services each Sabbath. Online services will be accessible through the church's website at Feel free to contact the pastors or the church office if you have questions. Please know that you are each very precious to us and you are in our prayers! For more info/updates  CLICK HERE.
Your ability to talk to God to grow your faith and trust in Him is a high priority especiallly as we all navigate these uncharted and unprecidented times. God wants to give you confidence in his love for you. He wants to calm you and comfort you!

God hears and answers your prayers. It is good to talk to Him authentically throughout your day! Remember that He knows what you need and yet his greatest desire is to hear you share needs with Him.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. Not that it is necessary in order to make known to God what we are, but in order to enable us to receive Him. Prayer does not bring God down to us but brings us up to Him. --EGW Review and Herald book IV p.36

Unceasing prayer is the unbroken union of the soul with God, so that life from God flows into our life; and from our life, purity and holiness flow back to God. --EGW Signs of the Times book II p.140

We all have times when we need someone to stand with us in prayer. Please do not hesitate to ask for prayer partners to pray for your request or to pray directly with you. Please feel free to submit a request for prayer or to ask for someone to call and pray with you. Our Pastors and Prayer Team are here for you.

Email requests to or CLICK HERE to submit an ONLINE request.

If you have need for special prayer, are hospitalized, need someone to pick up groceries, run errands, or pick up meds please call Sue Schock who is chairman of the visitation group or Paul Daniel who is heading up the special needs group. Continued prayers for our church family during this troublesome time.
"Run the race! Run as one who is trying to win... The race that God wants us to run is not a race of law keeping......... It's a race of love.... it is to look out and see ...what can I do to help you find your place in the kingdom! To be a people who are centered in love above everything. Free? Absolutely! But constrained and bound by the love of God! Because we want to follow Him as He gave that love to us."  (TM)
The Church Secretary is now working from home and all calls to the church have been transferred to her phone. Help your child thrive during the Pandemic.
So many decisions and adjustments being made to protect our communities from Covid-19, we do not want to overlook the emotional toll this can take on a child. Children will react and follow the verbal and nonverbal reactions of the adults closest to them. Because elementary, middle-school, and high-school students do not process information in the same way as adults, they are filtering these emotions and reactions much differently. This can lead to internalizing fears or stress overload. It is important to limit your child’s inputs to true information appropriate for their age-level and to provide positive, reassuring support.

We at the Upper Columbia Conference are hoping to partner with you in this journey by providing you with the following trustworthy RESOURCES.
"Probably not all of you have seen a tumbleweed with your own eyes. I live in a desert area, so I see them every day. Tumbleweeds are small bushes that uproot in the wind and roll around scattering their seeds. That way, new tumbleweeds sprout up. It’s kind of how we want to be for Jesus. We want to spread the love of Jesus wherever we go. And we may never see how you affected people. But don’t let that discourage you. Keep going. With every act of love and kindness, the world changes for the better.
