Today's Children * Tomorrow's Future

NOVEMBER-DECEMBER 2018 UPDATE

Our Donors Make the Difference!

Field Trip Requests Up 90%. 81% are Title 1 Schools.
62 bus grant requests as of October 26, 2018!
Teacher requests and funding requests increased again last school year. The 2019 school year is on track to equal or surpass 2018.

In fact, in just three months of the new school year, we have already received more than half the total number of bus grant requests received during all of last year!

We need your help to keep the buses rolling to out of classroom field study trips.  Please donate. Just  $350 sends 60 students on a life-changing experience to the arts and sciences.
Students from Morse, Lincoln, Hoover and San Diego High Schools rode the bus to the Lyceum Theatre to attend the production "Fun Home."   The musical involves members of a family who are closeted and struggling with the pressures of society and their own identities at a time when being from the LGBTQIA community involved risks both legal and social that took a costly toll upon people. The students who attended were all members of their schools' GSAs (Gender and Sexuality Alliance) and were VERY enthusiastic about attending a production that reflected some of their own experiences.
Thank you, ArtsBusXpress, SOOOOO much for underwriting our bus expenses.  Mark R., San Diego Unified School District.
