MUD Open Studio 1.0: #SoftHead features works from current projects like ArtSupply, Malla-Net and Pilgram 1.0. These works are part of a long-term exploration that began in Cuba in 2007, with pieces of game art and software in general.
My previous work from the Softhead series was made in Cuba, offline. Reaching the internet in 2011 has had an impact on my work, generating these pieces which I consider tools to manage the colors from social media palettes, as is the case of, Artsupply. Malla-Net manages Virtual Reality immersion on the browser and Pilgram collects data creating datavis and automated content streaming.
These featured pieces will merge in specifics works, intervening the internet as a public space and analyzing the practices of control throughout internet, with a ludic approach.
