Yefre me Kwasibea
I am called Kwasibea
We are in our second week of language and technical training in Anyinasin, a village close to Kukurantumi, where the Peace Corps hub office is.
All is well! I am learning Twi and Lelemi. Twi is the unofficial national language and Lelemi is spoken by the Buem people in the mountanous Volta Region of Ghana. Happy to have some hint of where I'll be living for two years, now I just need to pass this language training.
I am living with a small family - Maame Rose and her son Stanley.
I'm running out of time to write tonight, but if you’re looking for updates as to what’s happening in my world this newsletter will be a good place to start. This format should serve as a one-stop-shop for project updates, blog links, photography, and the like. I’m a little uncertain as to how often I’ll be able to create an update like this but I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop whenever possible.
