When:   Thursday, September 1st

 

Time:    10:15 am - 11:15 am  

             

Where:  Park at Fairbanks Centre at Shubie Park.

              Meet by the water at the Kayak rental facility.

 

Cost:     Cost is $10.00 per member

               (Halifax County RTO will subsidize the additional costs.)

               Guests are welcome but the fee will be $15.00 per guest.

 

In addition, RTO will provide a free water and snack for all.

 

Come and enjoy beautiful Shubie Park, and enjoy a short adventure on the Canal. 

 

Available Spaces:  There 12 spaces available. There are options for single seat boats or doubles.

 

Registration/Payment:  To reserve the boats, we require that you register by emailing and e-transfer your $10.00 to Bea Fourgnaud at bfourgnaud@hotmail.com by noon on Sunday, August 28th at 6:00pm.

 

Equipment:  Boats, life jackets (PFDs) and all equipment provided.

 

Note/Tips:

 

-You will need to sign a waiver and identification will be required.

 

-Wear a cap/hat and footwear that can be worn in water.

 

-Dress for the weather.

 

-An RTO rep will be there to assist.

 

-Arrive at 10:00am to sign waiver.
