Doctoral Colloquium

ICORIA 2016 Doctoral Colloquium

Deadline: May 6

The EAA is happy to announce that Professor Edith Smit (past President of EAA and top-ranked advertising scholar) will be one of the speakers at this year’s doctoral colloquium. She will share her view on advertising research and how to make it as an advertising researcher. Here is a brief interview with regards to her participation.

Edith, what are the most important issues for contemporary advertising research?

For contemporary issues, one should really visit our conference. To me, ICORIA has always been 'the' arena for new insights with an engaged audience and a friendly-enough atmosphere to try new things.

Why should PhD Candidates apply for the ICORIA Doctoral Colloquium?

In the colloquium, you meet your international peers with comparable challenges and questions. You get the opportunity to get insights on how to manage your supervisors, your projects and your submissions of papers. It will also give the conference itself an extra boost as you will meet your colloquium peers in sessions, at diner and other social gatherings. It's about building a network in a very pleasant way.

The colloquium will take place on June 30, 2016 the deadline for application is May 6, 2016. For more information about the ICORIA Doctoral Colloquium please visit: http://www.europeanadvertisingacademy.org/news/icoria-2016-doctoral-colloquium/
