I am a singer and songwriter who regularly performs at live music events, both solo and with other musicians.
I have written and perform a WW1 / Falklands Conflict themed small theatre event called 'The War To End All Wars.
I also work as a Special Education Needs Music Teacher, working with Children In Care.
Thank You for Supporting Live Music!
Supporting Go West in Holmfirth, guesting at Congleton Jazz n Blues Fest, Poynton Show and Fylde Folk Fringe were brilliant and a privilege. I didn't honestly think we were going to top Belladrum, near Inverness, (where I met up with Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze, see photo), and Folk On The Farm on Anglesey, but the love in the room has been with us throughout. And there's more to come, plenty more! > Gig Guide <
The War To End All Wars - Performance Dates and Tickets "A great and very thought provoking performance"
Tickets are now on sale for my self-penned, original music and narrative piece, which features authentic film footage and has been overwhelmingly well-received in it's debut year. The remaining 2014 dates are:
The Last Of The Summer Festivals
Every year it's the travelling musicians pleasure to get out there and play a few festivals. For me the last of this Summer's outings will be the gathering at The Ship in Lathom (near Burscough) for their annual most excellent 'Beer, Pie and Sausage Festival'. Kevin Farrell and myself play live on Friday September 12th, 8pm, admission free > Gig Guide <
Returning to Uttoxeter
One of the highlights of my Summer was The Acoustic Festival Of Britain, where I played both the festival held on Uttoxeter Racecourse and the town centre stage. One of the respected music venues in the area is the Marchington Music Club, held on Sunday afternoons at The Dog And Partridge. Kevin Farrell and myself are special guests at the club, 5pm on Sunday September 14th, admission free > Gig Guide <
