The 37th-Annual Minnesota PRSA Classics Awards and the 13th-Annual Student Classics Awards will be presented on Thursday, April 9 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion. Register by April 3 to ensure seating and meal accommodations.

Communicating Across Cultures Panel

From language and inflection to mannerisms and gestures, every culture has a unique set of norms. As communicators, we strive to know our audiences in every possible way, with culture and language as an integral, yet challenging, component of this research.

We invite you to join us in a panel discussion as we look to break down these barriers and help us better communicate across cultures.

Career Center Committee Seeks Chairperson

Have you served on a Minnesota PRSA committee in the past? Do you think you might be interested in a leadership position with the chapter in the future? If so, the Career Center Committee is interested in hearing from you.

The Minnesota PRSA Career Center supports the Minnesota public relations community by:
  • Connecting members and students to jobs and internships through our Job Board and other PR resources.
  • Working with employers to post jobs to the Job Board.
  • Providing career advancement advice and networking through events.
  • Assisting members with networking and mentorship through the Minnesota PRSA Career Coaching program.
  • Working closely with other Minnesota PRSA committees to communicate and host events surrounding career opportunities.

Is PRSA Counselors Academy for You?

Counselors Academy, a professional section of PRSA, is made up of agency owners/leaders and solo practitioners. If you own an agency or solo practice, or are a senior leader at an agency with at least 10 years’ experience in the field of Public Relations or Integrated Marketing Communications, Counselors Academy may be the right fit for you.

The group shares best practices regarding agency/business management with programming and online forums that range in subjects from client and employee retention, new business development, maximizing profitability to defining an exit strategy.
