About the Awards
The Classics Awards are an opportunity for your work in marketing communications field to be recognized by the largest public relations professional organization in Minnesota. Like previous years, the 2017 Classics are divided into two categories: Elements and Programs. Elements Awards recognize outstanding individual components or tactics, while Programs Awards honor the best overall public relations campaigns. However, many of our categories are new and improved this year to be more inclusive and representative of a variety of entrants, including small agencies, organizations and freelancers. Finalists and winners will be revealed at the Classics Banquet next spring, following the judging of the Classics entries.
The majority of an entry’s work must have been completed between Oct. 1, 2015 and Nov. 30, 2016. Programs tend to have a better chance of winning when they are near completion and can be better evaluated against their initial objectives. The PRSA Classics Awards competition is not limited to PRSA members. Entries are encouraged from all communication professionals in Minnesota.
Online Entry Process
All 2017 Classics Awards entries must be submitted using the online entry system. Only entries submitted through this system will be accepted. No hard copy award entries will be allowed. For more details about the electronic entry process and requirements, read the "How to Enter" instructions on the Classics website.
Additional information about the entry preparation process can be found in the Classics Frequently Asked Questions document.
