We have a seat at our table just for you and a guest! Come join other business professionals for lunch this Thursday, July 30, as we learn how wings, beer and sports have been a winning combination for fueling the growth strategies of Buffalo Wild Wings. When current president and chief executive officer Sally Smith took the helm in 1994, the company grew from 35 locations to more than 1,100 restaurants across the US, Canada, Mexico and now even the Philippines. Sally Smith, our keynote luncheon speaker, will share some of history, business and financial decisions that have helped to grow B-Dubs into the international restaurant and brand that we know and love today. She’ll highlight how short-term financial decisions can have a long-term impact on a business. Now that you are hungry to learn more, join Minnesota PRSA, Business Wire and NIRI Twin Cities on July 30, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hilton Minneapolis (1001 Marquette Ave. Minneapolis, MN).

Judges Needed!

We still need at least nine more volunteers!

Each year Minnesota PRSA partners with another state PRSA chapter to exchange award judging responsibilities. In January, the Georgia PRSA chapter judged our Classics awards, and now it’s time to return the favor! The Georgia Chapter is closing in on their submission deadline for its Phoenix Awards, and we need each of you to help judge the entries.
Dates to complete judging: July 14-August 10
Judge Criteria: We’d like judges who have five or more years of PR experience and/or their APR.
Location: Online! All judging takes place at your convenience any time of the day or night.
Time Commitment: Please indicate your availability to judge. We welcome judges who can give several or just a few hours – or even an hour.
In addition to counting toward your APR renewal, judging awards is a great way to learn more about the award entry process, and is an opportunity to expose yourself to new strategies and creative ideas.
To receive online judging access, please register here. Once you’ve registered, you will receive a link and instructions via email. If you have questions, please contact Shannon Heine or Kelly Abrahamson.
