Creating Hunt Groups

Hunt Groups are an advanced call routing feature that allows several extensions in your account to ring together. Hunt groups are useful in providing call answering flexibility, and creating advanced routing options. They are also non-terminating actions, which allows for cascading hunt groups and other call routing features to be used after them.

Creating a Hunt Group is simple:
  1. Click on the Hunt Group tab in the account.
  2. Click the "Add a hunt group" link
  3. Provide a description and use the checkboxes to add members to the group.
  4. Click Save when done. The new hunt group can now be used in the inbound behavior edit page of any extension.
Users in a group can optionally use dial codes to log in and out of their groups. *44 will log the user into their groups while *40 logs them out. For more information, see the Hunt Group page in the NocTel Knowledge Base

Thanks for the Photos

We would like to give a big thanks to our users that took part in the NocTel photo contest held in February.  Prizes will be soon arriving to the winners.
