Building Connections Starts Now

September 2020

Staying connected to each other is an essential aspect of life. Our ability to communicate with our family, friends, schools, jobs, and the broader world is made more accessible because of the Internet. The importance of this connection is made even more evident in the world we find ourselves in today. But even when the importance of high-speed Internet connection is vital, many in the US have limited or no access to quality high-speed connections.

Understanding this importance and seeing a need in our local community, NocTel created NocTel Fiber in 2018 (formerly the Ammeter Fiber Network) to bring high-speed fiber broadband Internet service to the rural areas of Clark County, Washington. Since then, NocTel Fiber has placed miles of fiber optic cables in the Washougal area, bringing a much-needed service to many families in the area.

Our long time customers are still thrilled with the NocTel Fiber network:

"We’re so lucky to have this option available in a rural location." - Lisa

"Great Internet connection and awesome company to work with. Questions get answered quickly." - Peter

NocTel Fiber is excited to be empowering our community to stay connected and look forward to bringing high-speed, reliable Internet service to more in our area as we work to actively expand our network.

For more information about our network, visit the NocTel Fiber website.

Welcome, Joel!

NocTel is glad to welcome Joel Letcher to our team. Joel joins us as our construction administrator working to install fiber optics in the ground, bringing high-speed Internet to communities who share their backyards with the wild in the Washougal area. With Joel onboard, NocTel Fiber will continue to grow. Welcome to the Team, Joel!

What's all the Talk about?

What is NocTel Talk?

For all the new NocTel Fiber users, you may be wondering what NocTel Talk is or what other services NocTel has. Talk is NocTel's Host VoIP solution designed for the business, education, and government sectors. NocTel Talk was the first product created by our team and offers a powerful communication solution for organizations, giving them an effective, affordable, and flexible phone solution.

What does VoIP and Hosted mean?

VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol and is also commonly used to describe a phone service provided over a network or the Internet. VoIP essentially allows user to cut their traditional phone lines and use an Internet connection for their phone services.

Hosted means that the equipment and significant systems that makes the services function are not located at the user's site but accessed over the Internet. Hosted services can be a massive benefit by cutting overhead, removing the need for placing expensive equipment onsite and hiring teams to manage it.

What else does NocTel offer?

Today, NocTel has several services and products:

  • Talk - Our best-in-class Hosted VoIP service
  • Flow - Contact / Call Center queueing solution
