Re-Imagining Advent
On December 11th,  Lynn Rubright will begin her two-week story telling series titled Re-Imagining Advent.
Lynn offers us this preview:

  • My informal storytelling presentation is basically a (hopefully entertaining) lecture-demonstration in my "podcast" style of sharing anecdotes. The content of Re-Imagining Advent is partly based on Matthew 2, verses 9 and 10.
  • My informal talk will have embedded in it my discovery of a small but totally unique and radical book by a Dr. Brent Landau of Univ of Texas, Austin called Revelation of the Magi - the Lost Tale of the Wise Men's Journey to Bethlehem. It asks, "who were these guys anyway.....?"

Please join us at 9 a.m. on December 11th and on December 18th for Lynn's storytelling adventure.
