It was so great to connect with 27 of the 32 Edmonton & Beyond APPLE Schools at the professional learning yesterday! One of my favourite parts of this job is connecting with you in person so I was really glad so many health champions were able to come. I am hoping to meet with you again at a priority setting meeting so my next step is to get that booked with you and your admin.
2015 Priority Setting Meeting I would like to meet with you and your administrator for a priority setting meeting. Priority setting meetings typically take an hour and are a chance for you, your administrator and I to discuss the health priorities of your school community, discuss the process used to review and share the action plan, and identify any areas of support for this school year. I am very flexible on the length of the meeting and whether it is in person or over the phone or video conference. Please connect with your admin and send me 3 dates and times that I could connect with both of you in person or over the phone. Please submit your dates by Friday, October 9th, 2015.
Thanks to everyone who responded to our survey about supporting the Aviva Community Grant! There was enough support to go ahead with it, so the $100,000 application was submitted. If you would like to receive reminder emails to make it easier to support this initiative, please sign up! Voting starts October 6. Here is the initiative page.
Take care and have a great week,
Let me know if you would like me to come fro Read in Week! Maybe I can read about dinosaurs :)
