How are things?
Since people have been allowed to stay over night (04 July), visitors to Keswick have been coming into the gallery, and for that, I and all our represented artists thank you.
Others have been purchasing artworks online as not everyone wants to, nor can visit the town as it's been quite busy these past few months. Thank you too for your custom and loyalty.
No sooner did Simon Whitfield bring in three signature paintings than they sold. All in the same morning.
Both Venus Griffiths and Godfrey Tonks continue to enjoy a renaissance, each producing wonderful paintings, each enjoying the process of creating new art for people's homes.
Clive Maddison's wire trees astonish visitors every day, his signature oak tree has 42,000 loops and contains 1.25km of aluminium wire; quite where you start with such a creation is beyond the likes of me.
New jewellery, mirrors and boxes by Maria Santos Alcantara.
The NLG is delighted to bring you a new monochrome range of square mixed-media framed landscapes by Kevin Southgate.
Other notable additions include John Kershaw's jugs & vases.
Haydn Morris too has been busy.
Lastly, three new paintings by Jonathan Trotman are now being framed.
Seen here in JT's studio. Register your interest by email to the gallery if you would like more information.
Hope to see you soon either online or in gallery.
Tim Fisher, NLG owner.
