Because the on-line shop and gallery have proved so very popular during Lockdown, expect more artists to be represented as on-line only, meaning we can cast our net a little wider, hopefully bringing you new, interesting and exciting artists, art work which may not necessarily feature the local landscape, including award winning photographers as well as painters, graphic artists and more.
New work which has arrived in-gallery includes paintings from Godfrey Tonks & Venus Griffiths, plus Mark McMurdie & Maria Burton, ceramics by Christine Cummings & JJ Vincent, tree sculptures by Clive Maddison.
Expect a whole lot more once artists start arriving with their Lockdown artwork, so stay tuned on IG, Facebook & Twitter (to a lesser extent).
Finally, to ensure both staff and visitors are as-safe-as, we have installed Perspex shielding around the front desk, some 2m distancing floor signage, disposable masks / face coverings at the door if you don't have your own, hand sanitiser throughout and we ask that all our visitors wear face covering whilst in the gallery, as will staff members.
I know people are going to be both tolerant & patient during these early days from June 15th, we so much want to open again, welcome you back & hear your stories of this shared experience.
