Our New Website!

  • We have officially launched our new website, which will carry more clothing and other products from the shop in addition to the jewelry! Our objective is to make sure that everything we post on Instagram is able to be found online. Along with the new site come a few changes that will be important for you to know:
    • Shipping is now $4.99 if you take orders over the phone. 
    • The return policy for anything bought online matches that of our shops. They can bring merchandise in to you, or send it back to our Millcreek address within 14 days of receipt.
    • The site will share inventory with the Millcreek shop, so those working here will need to get some training on how it works. 
    • We no longer have the staff page with the shift notes. Instead, we will be using the reminders app on the computer to create to-do lists for each shop. Please check that on every shift to see how you can help. If there is something that needs to be communicated to Katie or John, that would normally be in the shift notes, please contact us directly by email or phone.
    • There is a new staff page. http://katiewaltman.com/pages/employees You can find it by clicking on three hidden dots at the very bottom of the website "..." right after the word "Boutique". You will be able to do Custom orders and check the schedule on those pages.
  • A few other concerns:
    • We are all very excited about the new shop and the new website. However, we still need the other two shops to be contributing as much as possible. Please make it a focus to sell the merchandise that is in the location you are working at rather than suggesting that people come to Millcreek because it has more stuff. We are trying to make as much available as possible in each shop, but we need your help to try and sell through what we have. 
    • We have been thinking of how we can make things easier for you when customers ask for special case returns. We've decided the best thing you can do is stick to the policy strictly, and give the customer the option to email us at info@katiewaltman.com if they want an exception. No guarantees, but we will consider each case.
    • Please remember the No Unpaid Holds policy. Basically, we can hold something until the end of a shift, but no longer. It gets too confusing to go longer, and it's not fair to shoppers in the store. If you see anything on hold that isn't from your shift, you may put it back out. We always give the option for people to purchase over the phone.
