Since we have last emailed you, we have been featured in multiple articles – like this one on Property24. It is exciting to see the positive reaction to our new offering!

We have three new properties to introduce to you, all of which have been used in the past for film shoots so there is the potential of adding this as an additional income stream to these properties. The new owners acquired the property in 2001 in run-down condition and - in contrast – opted to synergize the architectural contradictions.

The result is an integrated architectural signature in pale limestone with highlights off ivory on mouldings and details. The result is a classical rendition of period Portuguese Mediterranean style.

In the early millennium, the property was opened as a detox centre with state-of-the-art facilities that include a kitchen and cold room in addition to the an ozone pod; mineral bath; FAR infrared; flotation tank; sound room; massage room and doctor’s consulting room.

The facility operates for some 6 months of the year and clients spend 4 to 5 nights in luxurious accommodation on a minimal diet or water fast program, Veronique Fraise who operates this centre is acknowledged to be the leading detox practitioner in Southern Africa and as such the facility has a an enviable reputation.

The property has 3 swimming pools, a fishing dam, and a fishpond central to the drive-in / out driveway.

Water is drawn from the river via pump system and purified through sand filters, activated carbon and ultra violet treatment to be used in toilets and baths / showers. There is a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen for drinking water. Lawns have Rainbird sprinkler systems.

The Mozambican staff – 3 from the original build team - are excellent and know the property intimately in terms of electrical, plumbing, irrigation and pumps. They are also skilled builders.

The estate is currently a working detox centre but could equally be a spa, boutique hotel – or a private estate for a fortunate family.

It is offered for sale with all major furniture, which was selected or custom-made for its interiors. Artworks and certain pieces will be price added as would agricultural machinery and any vehicle required.
