What’s the best thing about her job? "Being surrounded by people who are so dedicated to serving the public in a progressive and equitable way. Better still, I have the privilege of spreading the word about the amazing work they are doing each and every day for our community."

Friday July 31 | 10:30am-12pm
Online Zoom Meeting

Join us for a book discussion of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. E-mail laurab@wccls.org for a link to the Zoom meeting.

Meet Eleanor Oliphant: She struggles with appropriate social skills and tends to say exactly what she’s thinking. Nothing is missing in her carefully timetabled life of avoiding social interactions. But everything changes when Eleanor meets Raymond, the bumbling and deeply unhygienic IT guy from her office. When she and Raymond save an elderly gentleman who has fallen on the sidewalk, the three become the kinds of friends who rescue one another from the lives of isolation they have each been living. And it is Raymond’s big heart that will ultimately help Eleanor find the way to repair her own profoundly damaged one.
