Benefit Concert
We are thankful to all of you who came out to support the worthy cause of contributing to medical costs for the 4 who are recovering from a recent car accident. The concert was indeed a very meaningful and inspiring occasion. Additionally, what was received in financial contributions was tremendous, and is actually very close to being rounded up so that each of the 4 families can receive $1,000! If you wish to make a contribution toward that goal, you may click this link and find the "BENFIT CONCERT" line where you can type the amount you plan to give. We'll keep that line active for another few days, and then write out the checks to each family. You may also put your special gift in a tithe envelope at church this Sabbath and mark it as "BENEFIT CONCERT." Thank you so much for your support!

Ministry Retreat
Mark your calendars! Lincoln Northside will be hosting a ministry retreat at Broken Arrow Ranch in Kansas on the weekend of October 29-31. Anyone who plans to continue or join in ministry at Northside this year in whatever capacity is invited to attend with their families. This weekend-long retreat will provide intentional opportunities for spiritual renewal and the strengthening of our togetherness in mission and ministry.
We are planning to have accommodation costs covered for those who wish to attend, and plans are being made for the entire family, including children!
We'll need to have a sense of how many people may want to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are interested in being part of this, please fill out this form, and we will keep you informed as plans develop.

The Overcoming Seminar continues tomorrow at Holland SDA Church at 1:00pm. You are invited to attend this seminar in the fellowship hall right after potluck.

THIS SABBATH, October 2 at 6:00 pm in the Better Living Center at Northside. Don't miss out on this special time as we remember the sacrifice that was made for us by our Savior, Jesus Christ. We look forward to seeing you there.

Woodland Acres would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out for vespers and to all our excellent speakers this year. We enjoyed your fellowship, your support and making new friends. We wish everyone a safe winter and are looking forward to next year's vesper program. And don't forget, our last vespers this fall in late October. Keep an eye out for announcements for the date. Sponsorship Request
Thank you for your help so far! We have the opportunity to sponsor the gymnastics program at Highland Academy, where Lily and Linus Kuntz attend school in Tennessee. Highland academy has a very active gymnastic team that travels around the southeastern US as a part of their mission to promote not only the academy but also their love of Jesus. Lily and Linus have asked for the support of their home church. For a donation of 350.00 or more, Northside will be helping the young people enjoy something they love as they reach out to others. Northside Gathering Reminder
Based on the updated Directed Health Measures announced by our local health officials for the Lincoln-Lancaster area, we are asking all those attending any indoor gatherings on the Northside campus to continue to plan on the appropriate use of a face mask. You can view the announcement from the link above for additional details. Northside is participating in this community effort as outlined in that document. Thank you for your help, and we hope to have you worship the Lord with us.

Our offering focus this week is local church ministries. The Lincoln Northside and Holland churches are grateful for your faithful participation each week. We remain committed to service, and to proclaiming the praises of the One who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Thank you for considering ways to support and be involved with this mission.
You may participate financially by giving to/through Lincoln Northside or Holland this week. Your tithe goes to support the work of the Lord across the conference (including your church), and your offering goes wherever you designate within the local church. As we trust in God our provider, may He continue to add rich blessings and multiply our gifts for the furthering of the gospel.

Each filled-out card goes directly to Pastor Deneil by email, and based on your indicated preference, he will either pass it along to relevant ministry leaders or follow up with you confidentially.
