Christmas Program at Holland

Happening this Sabbath evening, December 11 at 5:00pm! The Holland Church will be having a Christmas program with music and other items, followed by supper and other social activities. All are invited!

Northside Caroling and Christmas Party

You are invited to join us at 4:00pm on December 18 as members and friends of Northside go caroling in the community surrounding our church. There will be hot drinks and a fun Christmas get together after that in the Fellowship Hall back on the church campus. If you are reading this, you're more than welcome to be part of it (bring your instruments, even if only your voice)!

Kodiak Pathfinder Fundraiser

Your Lincoln Northside Kodiak Pathfinders will be selling decorated Christmas cookies to raise funds for the club. Cookies will be based on pre-orders only and distributed by December 18th. More information to come soon but see a Kodiak Pathfinder leader if you would like more information.

Lifestyle Magazine is a half hour television talk show focused on living a full, healthy and balanced life. It is the second longest continually running show on the air after “Meet the Press.” The show features panel discussions, interviews and demonstration segments focused on whole life health, including fitness, nutrition, relationships, outlook and more. This multiple award-winning show reaches a wide age demographic and covers a wide variety of topics. It was recently voted a Top 20 brand influencer for health & fitness on Twitter (above Shape Magazine, GQ and more) by analyst group Onalytica.

Northside Women's Ministry Event

December 12, 2021 at 1:30 in the Better Living Center all women, ages 15 and up, are invited to the Women's Ministry Specialty Dessert/recipe and Stuff the Sock Exchange.  Bring your favorite cookie, bar, candy, bread, or other specialty item along with recipe cards for 12 people to share and take-home new recipes to make!  (Please wrap them individually for ease of sharing). Bring a new pair of socks "stuffed" with something small such as nibbles or office supplies or beauty supplies or puzzle items or items of your choice.  Suggestion: We are also collecting winter items: hats, gloves, scarves, and warm socks for the Good Neighbor center. Bring an extra set of socks to contribute!  HOPE TO SEE YOU ON SUNDAY THE 12TH!

Piedmont Concert

The Lesters: Christmas Concert Special

Often called “The first family of gospel music,” the Lesters have been sharing the Word through song for five generations.  With 80 years and 88 albums behind them, the group proudly brings great gospel music through harmonies and inspired arrangements that are 100% “pure Lester.”

This Week's Offering

Our offering focus this week is Adventist Community Services. ACS supports community outreach programs by funding development projects that make a major impact in your communities. A washer/dryer serves thousands of homeless to bring dignity and value to their lives. A shelter provides protection and offers hope. A portable shower trailer prepares someone for a job interview. And so much more.

You may participate financially by giving to/through Lincoln Northside or Holland this week. Your tithe goes to support the work of the Lord across the conference (including your church), and your offering goes wherever you designate within the local church. As we trust in God our provider, may He continue to add rich blessings and multiply our gifts for the furthering of the gospel.

Northside Gathering Reminder

Based on the updated Directed Health Measures announced by our local health officials for the Lincoln-Lancaster area, we are asking all those attending any indoor gatherings on the Northside campus to continue to plan on the appropriate use of a face mask. You can view the announcement from the link above for additional details. Northside is participating in this community effort as outlined in that document. Thank you for your help, and we hope to have you worship the Lord with us.

One of the ways we are hoping to stay in touch with you is through our online connect card. If you would like to get more involved at Northside or Holland or have a ministry suggestion for either church, there is a place on the card to indicate that, along with other ways that our community of faith can be your community too. Each filled-out card goes directly to Pastor Deneil by email, and based on your indicated preference, he will either pass it along to relevant ministry leaders or follow up with you confidentially. Either way, we will do our best to respond to you directly. Please do not journey alone.
