Northside Community Family Fun Night

Discovering Revelation
This Fall, the Lincoln Northside Seventh-day Adventist Church will be hosting a 4-week evangelistic series under the theme "Discovering Revelation." Except for Monday and Thursday nights, we will meet every night from September 16 to October 15 in the Better Living Center, sharing hope from the Word of God. We invite you not only to attend, but to prayerfully consider ways that you can be involved in this powerful witnessing opportunity. Starting next week, more specifics will be shared in this newsletter and from the front at church about ways you can serve.

The Holland Church will be having a business meeting on Sunday, July 24 at 6:00pm.

Gold City Quartet Concert
Gold City Quartet has been setting the standard for male quartets since their inception in 1980. Their stellar career includes numerous number one songs, fan and industry awards, and prestigious honors. Yet this Alabama-based group remains down-to-earth, grounded in their southern roots, and committed to continuing their mission of delivering power-packed four-part harmonies and singing songs that are meaningful, entertaining, inspiring, and uplifting.

Pathfinder Honor Camp
With the International Camporee coming August 5-11, 2024 in our neighboring state of Wyoming in the town of Gillette, there is an upcoming opportunity in our conference to help churches who do not have a Pathfinder Club to start one, as well as to help strengthen churches that already have a Pathfinder Club. There will be an honor camp held at Camp Arrowhead from July 24-29. Conference leaders will be there all week long and there will be scheduled daily meetings with pastors and leaders to help churches start a club and provide information on what is going to happen at the International Camporee.

Lincoln Northside Church Retreat
This year's church retreat will take place October 21-23 at Broken Arrow Ranch in Kansas. Please mark your calendars and be on the lookout for further details.

Our offering focus this week is local church ministries. The Lincoln Northside and Holland churches are grateful for your faithful participation each week. We remain committed to service, and to proclaiming the praises of the One who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Thank you for considering ways to support and be involved with this mission.
You may participate financially by giving to/through Lincoln Northside or Holland this week. Your tithe goes to support the work of the Lord across the conference (including your church), and your offering goes wherever you designate within the local church. As we trust in God our provider, may He continue to add rich blessings and multiply our gifts for the furthering of the gospel.

Praying Together

One of the ways we are hoping to stay in touch with you is through our online connect card. If you would like to get more involved at Northside or Holland or have a ministry suggestion for either church, there is a place on the card to indicate that, along with other ways that our community of faith can be your community too. Each filled-out card goes directly to Pastor Deneil by email, and based on your indicated preference, he will either pass it along to relevant ministry leaders or follow up with you confidentially. Either way, we will do our best to respond to you directly. Please do not journey alone.
