Did you know BioNB has been around for 20 years?
Responding to the growing importance of biotechnology for the development of New Brunswick's economy, in 1996 the province's industry associations and government decided to take a proactive position on biotechnology in the province.
These groups established a new not-for-profit with a mission to spearhead, coordinate, and synergize the provincial bioscience community's efforts.
Today that organisation is called BioNB. Since its re-branding and focusing in 2013, BioNB has been at the center of impressive growth in the number of companies, job growth, investment, and on-the-go innovative research.
These are exciting days for New Brunswick's bioscience industry! BioNB's workforce and capacity to support the sector has grown over the last year and we have moved into a bigger, better office! Stop by for a visit! |
