Lodging, attractions, more!

Good times, good cause!

Silverwood Theme Park, just 30 minutes south of Sandpoint, is continuing to stay open weekends in September and October. And although there will be no Scarywood frights this year, the roller coasters and family-friendly rides will still be spinning for fun thrills! It's less crowded in early autumn, and the weather in North Idaho is almost-always fabulous this time of year. Plus there's another terrific reason to visit the park this fall: a portion of park admission tickets will benefit local food banks during the Silverwood Theme Park's Community Appreciation Weekends, Sept. 19 through Oct. 25. For every general admission ticket sold, $4 will be donated to local food banks, and $1 for each youth/senior ticket sold. SilverwoodThemePark.com.

The Covid Sucks! event

Are you missing all the fun events that were canceled over the summer? We are too! So the Sandpoint Chamber decided to host a fun, safe event - Covid Sucks! - where folks can play, eat, drink, and support Sandpoint's local businesses! Participants register for the event for $20 to receive a punch card; and from Sept. 4-11 get up to 20 stamps by making purchases from local Chamber businesses, including restaurants, shops, watercraft rentals, and much more! All prizes are donated by the local businesses they're helping to support. Prizes are awarded by raffle according to how many stamps you collect. Click for more info!
