Join AAPF Saturday, July 23 at  8PM for a livestream broadcast featuring Jamilah Lemieux of Ebony Magazine, community organizer and activist Cherrell Brown, journalist and hip hop activist Rosa Clemente, Candace Liger of OKC Arts for Justice, and Barbara Arnwine of the Transformative Justice Coalition with introductions from AAPF Executive Director Kimberle Crenshaw. The premiere will be accompanied by artist in residence, Abby Dobson. We gather to stand in solidarity with the family members of Michelle Cusseaux, Kayla Moore, and Meagan Hockaday -- 3 women killed by police -- who will be with us for the conversation. This urgency is the heart and soul of Breaking Silence Summer Camp, and why we need you to stand up and #SayHerName -- to uplift the lives of these women and make their stories known.

About the African American Policy Forum
Founded in 1996, AAPF was developed as part of an ongoing effort to promote women’s rights in the context of struggles for racial equality. It serves as an information clearinghouse that works to bridge the gap between scholarly research and public debates on questions of inequality, discrimination and injustice.
