The show will be hung in Angelo's Hall Columbia and guests may view it live and in person (Thursdays-Sundays)
On March 6th, 5:00 pm, there will be a VIRTUAL AWARDS RECEPTION on Zoom (Meeting ID: 857 3051 3807 Passcode: 460846) where the winners will be announced and the Judges will speak about the judging process and how they came to their decisions.
The entire show will be available online for those that find that most comfortable.
This event takes an enormous amount of effort from volunteers. We would like to invite you to help with a very small but important matter- the manning of the Angelo's Hall gallery in the Columbia State Park.
We need help for a 2 ½ hour shift from 2:30-5:00 pm on one of the following dates; March 10, 11, 12, 13, 17 and 19.
Your responsibility would be to welcome the attendees, distribute and collect their judging ballots, power down the computer, turn the lights off, and lock the door. Don’t worry, a veteran volunteer will show you the ropes upon the arrival to your shift.
TO PREPARE IMAGES FOR ONLINE ENTRY PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Make a copy of your original photo to apply the resizing criteria.
File size no smaller than 4 mb and no larger than 8 MB
Set image resolution first to 300 ppi.
Then size to 1,280 pixels or higher on the longest side with the other side, width or height, proportional. A smaller size may result in an image too small for the judges to properly view.
JPG (creates the smallest file size), TIF, or PNG format
