Back to School!

At this time of year in the States, students from kindergarten to college are thinking about school. Some are wondering what it is, others are excited about returning, and others are even wondering why they are going.

So, why do we go to school? There are many answers to that question. For college students it is most likely, 'So I can get a better job.' But for SABC students I have always received the same answer: I want to know how to teach others the gospel.

Did you know that only 10% of SABC students will be fully supported by a congregation when they graduate? It is not a tradition in Southern Africa to fully support a minister so many graduates have to work secular jobs and evangelize.

For Kevin, his goal was to work in the medical field and preach, teach, evangelize, and lead in the Church. So he, like so many other graduates, dedicated 3 years of their life to learning more, before going on to more education in a secular field.

We are pleased to serve in the Kingdom with people who sacrifice so willingly to ensure the Church grows.

Thank you for your partnership in this effort. Please take time to watch the 2 minute video above and click on the link below to make an online donation supporting SABC students.

We currently have a $30,000 matching grant for one-time and 12 month pledges. Please help us reach that goal.

May God bless you in your service to Him.

Kirk Eason

PS On a side-note, Kevin ended up choosing law school instead of medical school.
