Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

From Southern Africa Bible College

We hope your holiday's are filled with love, family, peace, and joy. And if you would like a Santa hat, feel free to try and take one from our friends pictured above! It's hard for me to imagine but Christmas in South Africa is hot, being that it's summer there now. They get their snow and cold weather in July and August.

I'm happy to announce two giving opportunities for you. Below you can learn about a matching gift and an IRA giving option that may benefit you this year. Remember, your donations help grow the Church in Southern Africa and around the world  by equipping Christian leaders like those pictured below.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there is any way I can serve you, by contacting me at keason@southernafricabiblecollege.org or at 512-965-0382. Of course, always feel free to visit our website for informative videos and updated Newsletters. www.southernafricabiblecollege.org.

We have just received news from an anonymous source that they will match up to $25,000 in new one-time gifts or one-year pledges given between now and December 2015.
That means that whatever amount you choose to give, can be doubled! For instance, if you give $100, the anonymous source will also give $100. If you pledge $100 per month for the next twelve months, the anonymous source will give us $1,200!
To give by check, mail it to SABC, 900 Echo Lane, Houston, TX 77024 and denote weather it is a one-time gift or a pledge.

The US government recently extended tax breaks for gifts made to charitable organizations from their IRA accounts. Below is a brief excerpt from a Wall Street Journal article and a link to the full article. Please see your financial adviser as to how it can benefit you. But hurry,
You only have two weeks!

Finally: Congress has reauthorized charitable transfers from individual retirement accounts for 2014. Now, IRA holders who are 70½ and older need to move quickly if they want to make such gifts, because the provision expires again as of Jan. 1, 2015. Read more.
