New SABC Development Council Announced
Donors and Volunteers are a tremendous asset to Southern Africa Bible College and our efforts to raise funds in the United States. The college could not have grown as it has over the last 9 years without your support. Mission Trip and Tour
March 26 – April 7, 2020
Cost $3,000pp
Encourage, Teach, Serve, Learn, Experience
There are several purposes to this trip:
- Encourage the Church.
- Learn more about the College its impact.
- Teach Bible teachers of all ages.
- Serve the College through physical labor.
- Experience the beauty of South Africa
Tentative Itinerary
Thursday, March 26, 4:00PM: Depart IAH for Johannesburg
Friday, March 27, 8:00PM: Arrive at College
Saturday, March 28: Host Bible Teacher’s Training Workshop at SABC
Sunday, March 29 AM: Divide up for worship at various congregations around Johannesburg
PM: Worship at Benoni Church of Christ
Monday, March 30: Attend class, tour campus, meet with faculty/staff/students/alumni
Tuesday, March 31: Work on campus, accomplish only what a mob can accomplish!
Wednesday, April 1, AM: Leave for Lion Park and Safari at Pilanesburg
Thursday, April 2, PM Return to SABC
Friday, April 3, AM Leave for Cape Town, sight seeing
Saturday, April 4, Bible Teacher’s Training Workshop, Sightseeing
Sunday, April 5, AM Divide up for worship at various congregations around Cape Town,
PM Return to Johannesburg
Monday, April 6, AM Leave for Houston.
Tuesday, April 7, PM Arrive in Houston
Cost Includes: Round trip coach airfare from Houston to Johannesburg. Transfers to and from all events. All lodging. Safari fees. Round trip to Cape Town from Johannesburg.
Not included: Lion Park, snacks. Meals while traveling in airports.Various expenses. ($500)
Deadlines: $1,250 deposit due by December 1, 2019. $1,750 final payment due by January 1, 2020.
Skills Needed: Teachers who can teach teachers of various ages of student, coordinators, helpers, encouragers, manual labor experts!

A special Thank You to all who helped with the roof repairs and extra energy costs over the last year. Because of your help in raising $60,000 we have been able to replace the roof on both the Main building and the Horne-Memorial Library. Above is the Library showing in progress pics. The first shows part of the old roof and the second shows the almost completed work. This is not about a building. This is about protecting resources and people who are instrumental in reaching the lost for Christ in Southern Africa.

Prayer Requests
The students
The academic year is half way over. Please pray they will be refreshed to start the new semester in a few weeks.
The third year students
They are on a mission trip to put into practice all that they have learned
The Solar Panel Project
We are raising funds to help alleviate the high cost of electricity and the affects of rolling blackouts. We have raised $18,000 of a needed $43,000. Please pray that this campaign will be successful.
