The Festival will help break down the barriers faced by LGBTIQ people in the North Central region, improve their mental and physical health and continue the journey towards equity and inclusion.

Preventing family violence
Empowering women to take control in Swan Hill on Tuesday 11 September.
Safe access to technology is crucial for women so they can stay connected to their family and friends, engage with the world and get information and support.
Building Safer Pathways for CALD Women in Swan Hill - 11th October.
This workshop is to increase their awareness of mainstream family and domestic violence and sexual assault services and how to access them.
Southern Mallee PCP Family Violence Prevention Matrix.
The Matrix has been updated, click the link above to view the whole document. This Matrix provides an outline of key plans, evidence, frameworks and initiatives relating to the prevention of family violence.

Travel grants to help our athletes excel
The Andrews Labor Government is encouraging Victoria’s rising sports stars to apply for travel grants to help them take their skills to the next level. Minister for Sport John Eren today announced applications have opened for the Labor Government’s 2018/19 Athlete Pathway Travel Grant Program.

SMART Practice Training
The SMART program is a statewide initiative funded by the South Australian Government Department for Education, as part of the Keeping Them Safe child protection reform agenda.

Volunteer Grants.
The Volunteer Grants 2018 funding round will provide funding of between $1,000 and $5,000 to eligible individuals and not-for-profit community organisations. Closes September 18th. Click here for more information.

Stronger Communities Programme.
The programme is intended for small capital works. Examples of projects that may be funded include:
Sporting facility upgrades including new scoreboards, seating, new turf, fit-out out of changes rooms, new canteen, new lights, upgrade water systems, gymnasiums, skate parks. Fit-out of community centres, including kitchen upgrades and equipment purchases such as computers, TVs and furniture and fittings. Closes September 10th. Click here for more information.

FRRR – Small Grants for Rural Communities.
Projects focusing on resilience, cultural, environmental sustainability, education, tourism, economy, community health and well-being up to $5,000. Closes 26th September. Click here for more information.

Intereach announced as NDIS LAC and ECEI partner for Mallee and Goulburn
Intereach has been announced as the NDIS Local Area Coordination (LAC) and ECEI (Early Childhood Early Intervention) provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the Mallee.
