What's a balanced diet?

Did you know if everyone ate a balanced diet, it could prevent 1 in 5 deaths worldwide – a bigger cut in mortality compared to any other risk factor, even smoking? Prof Clare Collins tells us why a balanced diet is important for reducing health problems, the different types of balanced diets and how we can all go about achieving one.

Having a meal or drink out?

With the new lifting of lockdown restrictions more people will be venturing back into a pub, restaurant and cafe, and perhaps you'd like to know about the various ways you can stay healthy while socialising. Pledge your birthday

There are lots of ways to help support WCRF – and one you might not have thought about is creating a birthday fundraiser. It’s a thoughtful and generous way to celebrate and help more people reduce their risk of developing cancer. The money you raise will have a huge impact on our cancer prevention and survival work, so you can tell everyone how they've helped once you’ve hit your target!

To all you fussy eaters

Sunday 16th May was National Children’s Day and we know how hard it can be to encourage children to eat certain food, especially when they're presented with weird and wonderful vegetables (to them, at least)! Mixer from our Eat Move Learn team shares with children what they can do to get adventurous with food.
