Watch our brand new Gifts in Wills video to find out about our journey and how you can be part of our ongoing legacy

We know that cancer prevention and survival are very important to you, and we can’t thank you enough for the support you’ve already given us to make our life-saving research possible.

Thanks to the support of amazing people like you, we’ve been funding life-saving research, influencing global healthcare policy, and educating the public on how to make informed choices since 1982.

Together, we will re-write the future. Many of our supporters consider contributing towards our long-term goals by including a gift in their Will to World Cancer Research Fund – after thinking about family, friends, and loved ones. Today, we're asking if you would consider including such a gift.

Christine's Story

Having worked at World Cancer Research Fund for almost 17 years, now as Supporter Services Manager, I love talking to our supporters every day on the phone – I may have even spoken to you over the years, dealing with enquiries and sometimes just having a lovely chat.

When you get to a certain age and have people and causes you care about, you start to think about the future and I’d like to think that, when I’m no longer here, my family are provided for.

World Cancer Research Fund’s free will writing scheme made it easy for me to put my will in place. This was all done through telephone and email contact and I couldn’t believe how easy the whole procedure was, from start to finish.
Now that I have my will in place, I certainly feel a lot more relaxed knowing that whatever tomorrow brings, my family are looked after and my possessions will go where I want them to. It’s a really good feeling!
Once I’d cared for my family, I decided I’d rather include a gift to World Cancer Research Fund than any other charity. I’ve seen from the inside the great work they do and know first-hand the difference their work makes to cancer prevention and survival.
I also included a gift in my will because I want to give something back. World Cancer Research Fund has helped me make changes to my own lifestyle and given me the chance to be healthier than I ever would have been without them.

We’ve also partnered with a local Solicitor network to prepare a simple Will for our supporters and their partners. You don’t have to include a gift to support our work to use this service, but we sincerely hope you will consider doing so. If you would like more details, please e-mail

Thank you for your continued support.

Michael Clark
Michael Clark

Michael joined World Cancer Research Fund in 2021 having spent 15 years in fundraising and before that was a Legal Executive working in high street law firms dealing with Wills and Probate.
Michael enjoys the challenges of working for an organisation of this size, ensuring that gifts in Wills form part of our long term plans.
Outside of work, Michael is a huge Elvis fan and enjoys being a member of the National Trust.

Dominic Gamble-Kempe

Dominic joined us in 2017 having worked for 13 years as a Private Client solicitor. As our Legacy Administration Manager, Dominic's main role is to administer the gifts that our generous donors included in their Wills many years ago. He particularly enjoys using his legal knowledge and skills to ensure that WCRF optimises the value of each of the gifts that we receive in order to make the biggest impact. Outside of work, Dominic plays in a band and enjoys playing football and coaching a youth football team.
