Help us celebrate our 30th birthday!

World Cancer Research Fund is turning 30! We're incredibly proud of all the work we have achieved since 1990, and we'll be using the 30 days of September to showcase how far cancer prevention has come in three decades.

And of course we’d love you to celebrate with us, starting with our 30-day Fruit 'N' Fiver challenge. To take part, challenge yourself or a friend to eat a different fruit or vegetable EVERY day in September – we've got lots of seasonal recipe ideas for you. In return, we’re asking for a suggested donation of £5, to help us continue our vital life-changing work. We're looking forward to seeing photos and videos of you doing the challenge; share with us by email, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Do you have any memories of World Cancer Research Fund over the past 30 years? It could be an event, race or fundraiser you've taken part in, or piece of research you've read. Let us know!

The people behind the research

We want you to get to know the researchers who help us prevent cancer. So we've asked them all the important questions like, "Do you wear a lab coat?" and "Did you ever set fire to anything in science lessons at school?"
