Looking back and raising a glass

People clink glasses

We hope you've all had a happy, healthy Christmas. In our last email of 2018, we'd like to say a big thanks to all our supporters and look back on what we've achieved together this year.

Diet and cancer report: In May, we launched our Third Expert Report – a vital body of research summarising all we know about what causes and what protects against cancer. Scientists and policymakers have told us how much they value this comprehensive volume of evidence as we work towards a world where no one develops a preventable cancer.

200+ healthy recipes: Our Real Recipes website goes from strength to strength, and we now have hundreds of great-tasting recipes for you and all the family to enjoy, helping everyone to eat more of the right food.

Events galore: This year, more than 200 people competed in events for us to raise an incredible amount of money – over £121,000 – for cancer prevention.

World Cancer Research Fund is the only charity in the UK dedicated to searching for the links between cancer, the food we eat and our daily lifestyles. Let's see what we can achieve in 2019!

PS What are we drinking in the picture? A delicious selection of mocktails! If you're looking for a gentler way to see in the new year, head over to our recipes site. These drinks are easy to make, and we've even provided how-to videos.
